“Extreme” Excitement Builds for Bomanite Licensed Contractor; Heritage Bomanite (1/16/09)

The ABC reality television series "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" arrived in Fresno, CA, putting thousands of volunteers and one lucky family in an international spotlight. Our local area licensed contractor, Heritage Bomanite, was included in the “thousands of volunteers” and installed the colored and stamped concrete to the front entry and back patio areas of the home. According to a recent interview with the local paper, The Fresno Bee, with Sergio Ilic, owner of Heritage Bomanite, the Heritage crew was excited when approached about the opportunity and although, like many other business in the area, they have been affected by the downturn in the housing market, they looked past the hardships and jumped on board. “This is about people coming together to help someone in need. And we are doing our part”, says Ilic in the interview. The Heritage Bomanite crews spent 16 ½ hours grading, forming and pouring over 2,100 sq. ft. of integrally colored and an imprinted concrete pattern of 18 x 18 Tile on a 45 degree angle to achieve the “Extreme” look all in one day!
