Everlast Concrete wins award for spectacular custom concrete home
 Concrete isn’t just for sidewalks anymore. Look at
the photos of this astounding house created by Bomanite Licensed Contractor
Everlast Concrete of Steger, Il. Everlast Concrete won the
most prestigious award The Bomanite Company offers, the Best
Project Worldwide – Gold Award, in February, competing
against licensed contractors all over the world. More than
5,000 square feet of Bomanite architectural concrete product
was laid on floors, troweled on walls, used on stairs and
poured on countertops in this residence to transform an ordinary
home into a stunning award-winning work of art.
Patène
Artectura stains were used on just about every surface of
this home. Bomanite Micro-Top, Thin-Set, textures and patterns
were used on the floors, the walls and the stairway. Bomanite
Thin-Set was even used in multiple layers to fashion a unique
fireplace and hand-sculpted to create a wall that could best
be described as a work of art. The combination of patterns,
textures, colors and techniques used on this project resulted
in a one-of-a-kind home that is as beautiful as any museum
and as durable as concrete.
