Bomanite is happy to announce the ’09 Annual Project Award winners! The Bomanite Annual Project Awards has been a tradition of many years for Bomanite Licensed Contractors to submit their outstanding projects for the year. Bomanite Licensees compete among the best of the best in order to be recognized for their work submitted for the 2010 contest. The winners are announced at the Bomanite Annual Conference, held in various cities from year to year. This is a taste of artwork and craftsmanship in the decorative concrete market that can be achieved by the Bomanite network of decorative concrete craftsmen. New Product Bomanite Florspartic 100 (3/15/11)

INTRODUCING...Bomanite Florspartic 100, a fast-curing two-part polyaspartic aliphatic polyurea sealer/finish coating for both decorative and protective applications. With zero VOC’s, it can be applied over decorative concrete surfaces such as stained, ground concrete, polymer-modified cementitious overlayments, or employed within seamless multi-build flake/aggregate flooring systems. Important characteristics of Bomanite Florspartic 100 include its outstanding penetration and bond strength, UV resistance and excellent color/gloss retention. Suitable for high traffic interior or exterior applications, the material is ideal for clear topcoat sealer applications over decorative concrete, walkways, commercial applications, industrial facilities, swimming pool decks and garage floors. New Bomanite Pervious Concrete AIA Program Available! (9/15/08)

Bomanite is pleased to announce the availability of our new AIA registered Continuing Education program #1G0608 entitled, “Void Structured Concrete: Functionally Beautiful and Environmentally Friendly.” Bomanite’s new CEU presentation is designed to look at concrete cast with voids or openings as a decorative, structural and environmentally friendly option to traditional non-pervious concrete or unit type non-pervious pavements. The program explores the various applications for void structured concrete including the installation processes and the variety of design, along with economical and environmental benefits. Additionally, the program compares the attributes of void structured concrete with those of other pervious pavement systems both vegetated and non-vegetated.

The program explores the various types of exposed aggregate systems, application processes, aggregate selection, color, aesthetics, as well as, environmental and economical issues.
